A POST -- IT'S ABOUT TIME!!!
A list of things our family has been up to the last three months:
1) Finish Painting The House
2) Pack The Old House
3) New School Year Starting
4) Stain Doors
5) Move
6) Work
7) Payton Working Out of Town
8) Trying To Get Everything Put Away And Still Keep The House In Decent Shape
. . . and My Never Ending Project....Getting The Garage Cleaned Out So We Can Park In It.
Payton has been working on a golf course in Provo. Lance joined him this week and we hope to see them home this weekend.
Oakley just started piano today...so far she loves it...we will see in a couple of weeks when she gets tired of practicing everyday.
I think that is all I have for today. I will try and post again in a few days.
For those of you who know about my nephew, he is doing better, still struggling a little bit with the Chemo but we pray that he will be well enough to travel out here for Thanksgiving. We are trying not to get our hopes up, but it is hard to not wish that he was here to smother with love! FINALLY -- A POST ABOUT OUR HOUSE
Well, Aubrey made the blog look cute. Since she did that for me, I figured that I better get these pictures up before she beat me. She has been asking me to post picture of my new house for weeks. These pictures were taken over the past couple of weeks with the most recent being Friday the 25th. Since then, the tapers have started taping the interior and the color is about half done on the exterior. The color should be done tomorrow and the tapers should be done by Friday. I have been promised that by the end of next week the texture will be done and ready to paint. Then the real work begins....we are hoping to be in no later than the second week in September, but I would really like to try to be in by Labor Day weekend. We will have to see how quickly we can work though!!!
You will see that there are a lot of pictures of Kyller. There are not many times that Payton & I get over to the house with Kyller in tow. Kyller wants to help with every part of the house and has become quite the worker!!! There are a couple of pictures in here where he has dropped asleep where he sit because he has been trying to keep up with his dad!!!

FOURTH OF JULY EVENTS
We have made it a tradition to join my parents in St. George for their ward's annual 4th of July Parade & Breakfast.
This morning, it hardly seemed worth getting up at 5:00am, dragging the kids out of bed, rushing them ready & then running out of the house by 5:30am.
I knew that the kids really wanted to go, so not wanted to disappoint them we did get up at 5:00am and made it to the parade in time. Once I saw the smiles on their faces, it was all worth it!!!
Oakley was proud of her "parade hair". She also enjoyed pulling Charity & her cousin, Ember around in the wagon for the Parade.
Garrett & Kyller enjoyed the parade on their scooters. They headed up the parade almost the entire way (about 4 blocks
BREAKFAST
I didn't think that anything could top the parade for Charity today, but when we got to breakfast she found herself a way on the table and made her rounds to everyone's plate.
I think she liked the cinnamon rolls the best!!!
AT THE PARK
We enjoyed another annual event! Face painting....although Oakley decided to get it done on her arm and not on her face. Even Charity got her face painted!!! Believe it or not, all of their paintings made it to the end of the day!!!
Garrett took on the rock climbing wall. I was so proud of my usually very scared child. He asked me if he could try it and I told him I would pay for it if he would try...and boy did he try!!! He got hesitated a couple of times when he had to let go with one foot and one had at the same time, but he was able to pull through and make it to the top!!! WAY TO GO GARRETT!!!
SWIMMING
We finished off the day with some swimming & a barbeque. Payton took the kids to the fireworks show in Mesquite later after we got home!
